Aqua'aba Foundation: Planting the Seed of Water Wisdom in Ghana's Twi Language. Founded by a Swiss Swimming Teacher and Two Local Activists, Aqua'aba Teaches Underprivileged Children the Lifesaving Skill of Swimming

Twice a week, the children spend about 4-5 hours with our Aqua'aba team. The main focus is on learning the life-skill of SWIMMING

Kids in Ghana learn how to swim, with the support of a Swiss swimming coach and local activists.

Support a child in Accra, Ghana, to learn how to swim, get food and an opportunity to be more save and get a better chance in life.

WHAT WE DO>

The Aqua'aba Foundation focuses on financially underprivileged children in Ghana, offering them valuable swimming lessons. This life-skill provides empowerment, health benefits, and significantly reduces the risk of drowning. Currently, 25 active participants benefit from the foundation's program, receiving dedicated care and attention during their involvement. The program not only imparts a vital life skill but also serves as a meaningful after-school activity, effectively keeping these children away from the streets.
